Persistence of memory by Mykola
One of my favourite work of art is the
Persistence of memory.
This is one of the most famous paintings
of Salvador Dalí and it was painted in 1931. This is exposed in Museum of Modern Art , New York .
Salvador Dalí painted this work a night
when he feels bad. He thought about the cheese that he has eaten for dinner and
scenery of Portlligat.
In the painting we can see the beach, the
sky and the four hot watches. The watches mean the cheese and the time of life.
In a watch of the painting there is a fly, and on another watch the are ants
because Salvador Dalí was afraid of the insects when he was a child.
